The Webinar Coordinator will be responsible for verifying attendance for webinars, as well as monitoring the chat. This person should be tech-savvy, energetic, and reliable. This position requires individuals to be able to work in a fast-paced environment while sticking to a strict schedule within the webinar. On occasion, they may need to assist the presenter or audience with tech issues that may arise. Proactive thinking and rapid problem-solving are a must. Knowledge of the Sikh faith is essential. This role will report to the Creative Director. It is a contract position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Host webinars and occasionally moderate
  • Manage software platforms like BigMarker to set up events, open registration, and publish webinar details
  • Track attendance and manage correspondence with panelists and participants
  • Webinar configuration to facilitate interaction and polling questions
  • Potential technical support for participants having difficulty logging in

Key Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience
  • Good communication skills and an ability to engage audiences in discussions
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organization, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask, manage and meet tight deadlines
  • Must be able to work well independently and as a member of a team
  • Available to work Saturday morning EDT and occasionally on other scheduled days
