Sidak is a leadership program offered by the Sikh Research Institute (SikhRI) that has been transforming young adults into Sikh-inspired leaders. Through a Gurmat framework based on Bani (wisdom), Tavarikh (history), and Rahit (lifestyle), participants learn to address social issues through critical thinking and reflective questioning anchored in the Sikh ethos. Sidak provides our future leaders an opportunity to connect with their inner-self, build strong relationships, and infuse the Sikh spirit into their future goals and endeavors. Sidak alumni are community activists, artists, lawyers, doctors, scientists, educators, policymakers, and so much more. In whichever field they are in, they take the tools necessary to see the world through a Sikh lens and infuse the Sikh spirit into everything they do.

Sidak Intern will assist in assuring all Sidak events (in-person, online, community) and activities related to the Sidak project are completed on time. They also include Sidak community, committee, facilitator, and alumni. Sidak Intern will report to the Sidak Project Lead.
