Research Intern
Overview
This role will support SikhRI’s research and development initiatives in regards to developing unique, long-form content and disseminating surveys and feedback mechanisms for data collection. The Intern will work under the Policy & Development Researcher, assisting in research and compiling SikhRI’s State of the Panth Reports.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be a dynamic self-starter and strong communicator, able to quickly grasp complex topics and approaches towards solving problems.
The Research Intern should have a strong interest in academic approaches to the study of Sikhi and the Guru Granth Sahib. Background in humanities (at least a 3rd year pursuing a degree in history, religious studies, political science, anthropology, etc) strongly preferred. Fluency in Panjabi is an asset, but not required.
Compensation
This is a contract position for 50 hours over 12 weeks; 500 stipend will be provided upon successful completion of report.
